Whether the weather be hot,
Whether the weather be cold,
We’ll be together whatever the weather
Whether we’re young or old.
Whether the weather be cold,
Whether the weather be hot,
We’ll be together whatever the weather
Whether we like it or not.

Trading in those oceanview San Diego sunsets for the fireshow that is sunsets with LA smog.
Sent off a fax to UCSD saying I won’t be a student this fall.
And so I fully embark on this new career in television. Earlier tonight I explained to a friend’s parents why, and the reasons I normally give– financial, stress, living situation– didn’t seem to do it for them. Most of the people I know are completely gung-ho about the whole venture. As am I. But at that point, the list of reasons seemed to spiral into a chasm of self-doubt. It seems you need a master’s degree to meet most job qualifications you’ll find, so obviously I’ll be going back.
A quarter off isn’t that long, is it? Strange.

My Festival Director’s note in the program:
By a remarkable coincidence, almost all the plays have torn newspaper on the floor and a dance break.
There are no doors, beds, or couches.
I’m particularly proud of that last thing.
